I'm looking for a complete engine either mi16, s16, gti6 lump its for trying in a stock car.

IS that the 130-40bhp engine, really needing as high bhp as will loose some as change to carb

There's a Xsara VTS (aka gti6) lump just come up on Ebay, 99p starting price but unknown condition, loom damaged and injector rail missing:

Another thought since you're presumably planning to lose the engine management system and use a different inlet manifold - I've got a gti6 head with (I assume) a couple of trashed valves which you could have for £40 (though collection from just north of London could be tough for you!)

Combine that with the XSi bottom end, a £20 exhaust manifold off Ebay (or from me possibly, if I've got it spare) and whatever kind of induction system you're planning and you'll virtually have a gti6 lump, just minus the oil cooler, slightly lower compression and possibly (depending on the XSi build) without the crank oil spray bars.
