Recently got another 6 and was wanting to put the original air box on from my old pug noticed it had a k and n cone filter fitted to the gearbox so managed to remove it but when I tried to fit the original air box I couldn't find where to attach it I seen on the forum someone mentioned a triangular mount near where the engine loom meets the car loom but I didn't have much luck so for now just gona put the kand n back on after a good clean if anybody could help me or has a photo of what I should be looking for id really appreciate it cheers

Cheers m8 does that mean you need to remove the wheel and plastic surround thing ? To get access to it ? By m6 do you mean 6 mm ?

Yea he does mate I've just fitted my standard box, you need to remove the passenger small plastic cover inside wheel arch and the assigner wheel as well really. Very happy with mine, makes the engine a lot more quiet and in my opinion it feels more torque low end

I turned the steering full lock, undone i think 1 screw under the bumper and pulled out 1 clip on the wheel arch. Was then able to pull the liner out enough to get access to the air filter box. If you want to do it properly though better take the wheel and liner off.

Call me a pikey but for the top bolt with mentioned missing captive nut, I just used a cable tie through there and the small hole next to it. Along with the other two nuts it's solid!
