Maybe this is a design flaw, or maybe something is amiss. When i press my foot on the clutch, the revs hang for about half a second, maybe a second, then drop. Its more annoying me than anything. Ive googled it and found a few cases of gti6's having this. Could my idle air control valve be letting too much air in initially from when the ECU is detecting the butterfly clipping shut?TB is clean and snaps shut on the spring when it should do. ________________________________________ PaulHiding with Pride |

I was under the impression that this was by design and operated by the little electronic plug near the clutch pedal.Drive quickly and go up through the gears and you'll notice that the revs hang just a little bit and the car doesn't allow them to drop between gear changes. Or is this at idle? ________________________________________ 61k miles Ph.1 Diablo '6 Project Thread |

Saw a thread on it somewhere but can't recall where. Just had a look and can't find it so I'm beginning to think I'm imagining things. Might have a quick look at my own though. If they are properly hanging it is a problem though, is your ICV original? They can cause no end of problems and for peace of mind I just went and bought a new one so it can't cause any issues. ________________________________________ 61k miles Ph.1 Diablo '6 Project Thread |

I'm going to whip it off and have a look later. The idle isn't amazing at times so sounds sensible. ________________________________________ PaulHiding with Pride |
