Hi all,

Probably been asked many times before but put "oil" into the search engine and you just get loadsa threads about c"oil"overs. So what is everyone using? Brands? Thickness? It's for fast road use.

For my next oil change I have bought Shell Helix 7 10-40 semi-synth. Bang on spec and around £25 delivered for 6 litres from ECP . As a high mileage user who keeps up with service intervals this oil suits me better than Mobil 1 etc.

I just use Total Quartz 9000 which is the peugeot recommended semi-synth oil.
It's something like 23 pounds for 5L from nielsencdg as well.

Total is the Pug recommendation these days. Still a bit pricey though, the Shell is about £17 delivered from ECP for the same spec
