i have a phase II 1998 Gti6 and it appears to be shockingly hard to obtain a rad new, either quickly or at a reasonable price!

does anyone have a spare /unwanted 1 kicking around !

i would prefer a brand/nearly new but an excellent 2nd hand would be fine !

im not particulary after a Nissens etc - but that would be cool ! any brand is fine !

i also need a replacement bottom hose - as mine is the type with the 2 weird plastic catches that pull down into the outer edge of the rad pipe ! this doesnt have to be new as long as theres no holes etc !!!

as long as the hose fits a phII and connects to the rad i dont care what clips/spings etc it has !


just out of interest can anyone confirm the 100% correct part numbers -
euro car parts gave me these :

RAD - 203735350

bottom hose - 211735741

if anyone can get this to me asap - please drop me a PM asap !
