All the answers are in the threads rikky linked. Yes they fit and they'll be ok with standard bars. They're not listed for a 306 because they're 205 dampers. ________________________________________ www.bridgecraftmotorsport.co.uk |

Very different damping rates on the 306 competition stuff as the bars used were much larger but the car not tgat much more on the rear axle________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

by the looks of things these are standard replacements on a 205the only thing that sounds good is that they were used in the group n cars so I think I'll price up some b4 306 rears cars stripped etc so no weight there at all |

No they're not, they're different from standard, much firmer with more rebound. B4s are the oe replacement. In my opinion the ones to go for are either 306 b6s which are slightly uprated but a better bet is the 205 grpA/2313. These work nicely with 20/21mm bars and are a better damper all round. The 306 Tarmac dampers are a bit ott I'd say, I've got a set on the rear of my 21mm barred 205 at the minute, I like them but they'd be better suited to larger bars IMO. ________________________________________ www.bridgecraftmotorsport.co.uk |

Billies are better, I'd go for the grpN if you can't stretch to the grpAs________________________________________ www.bridgecraftmotorsport.co.uk |

cheers buddyif I go for these £150 bargains do you think they are suitable for a lowered rear beam? I always try and stick to a budget and was hoping to spend no more than £150 but if I have to maybe £200 it's frustrating knowing so little about my new project all your help is much appreciated indeed |

As you can see that's my thread! I was after motorsport dampers for a rally car so I didn't want the grpNs which are basically a differently valved b6 (I think?). This is why I recommended you the grpAs rather than the cheaper ones you're looking at!!GrpN/1038 uprated damper used on the challenge cars with standard bars GrpA/2313 bigger bodies, more damping/rebound for bigger bars ________________________________________ www.bridgecraftmotorsport.co.uk |
