My heater motor has stop working, its work sometimes, but when l speed it up its stops. Any ideas ?

It's could be the bearing on the shaft or a loose connection is it noisy at all ?

They are very easy to replace if needs be. Just under the dash on the passenger side. 10 minute job.

try taking it off and coating it in WD40 etc and get it lubed up again
i'd use gloves the plastic blades on the sides of the fan are very sharp! Wink

I had a similar problem and turned out to be a dodgy relay above the fuses under the drivers side dash . . . well it was in my Phase 3 6. Give it a tap or just swap it for another one to check

When I bad this problem it was a bad earth. To much hassle to trace the cable back to source so I ended up running a new earth. Problem solved. When it stops, just bridge the earth to the metal bar thats part of the dash to earth it and see if it starts again.

Concidentally, i pulled my centre console out and as soon as i pulled the plugs out of the demist and hazards the heater stopped working. This could be the culprit.
