Right im havin a nightmare with this car everything is seized solid.

On the o/s driveshaft ive undone the 2 11mm with the dodgy peardrops on the end and with all the hammering a swearing in the world i cant get the bearing to come away from the housing.

The driveshaft is split at the cv book closest to the engine so there is nothing obstructing it but it wont budge.

Any ideas very much appreciated!!!

all you can do is try harder.

are you using a decent cold chisel and a proper hammer? none of this B&Q claw hammer bo***cks.

some heat may help, but you risk cooking the bearing.

Had a beer, rang a mate and just took it off at the mount. Unbolted gearbox an took it all out wiggling and swearing.

Problem we're at now is splitting the gearbox. Got an inch gap all the way round but just wont come free!!! Nothings stopping it :/

yes there is, the clutch release bearing, pull the pin from the arm and it'll land on your toes.
