Didn't think Peugeot made a 3 cylinder engine!!

You say you cant find the piston crown??.....wow!! It must have gone somewhere....can only really be in the sump in bits!

I've seen a 4D56 Mitsubishi L200 warrior lump do the same when I worked there, came in with engine failure pulled the head off and there was only half a con rod that had been rubbing against the bore for a while, rest of the piston was in bits in the sump Laugh my ass off

As WP says best one is where the piston and rod makes its own way out the side of the block at pace and makes a big lump in the bonnet from underneath Wink

That takes me back to when I enjoyed watching in the rear view mirror as the engine internals of my Nova got distributed liberally along the A14. LOL
