Hi all, wasn't too sure which section to put this one in but......

have a 307 HDi 2002, which has come up with the usual Antipollution fault. I have an Actia/Peugeot Planet 2000 which is refusing to work just when i needed it.

Has anyone had any success using any other diagnoistic tools on earlier Peugeot HDi's. Planet 2000 was really good and gave so much information. Not sure how reliable the ones selling on E.ay are.

Thanks.

I use a copy of he Actia console from eBay with PP2000 it always works fine however once connecting it has always said it can't talk to the communication device but as soon as you swap it to a different USB port it works fine.

Various other code readers will pull quite a few codes from the early Bosch ECU engines but they never go into as muh detail as the PP does.

Out main computer is an Actia "Multidiag" which obviously being French made by the same company that make PP2000 / Lexia software can do pretty much anything PP does so use that more often than not.

Thanks for the info. I bought my Actia tool back in 2009 when they were really expensive, don't know if it was original or not, it came in a nice plastic case and was well made. The software though was a copied item. Worked well for years, then recently i think either the software played up or my laptop, so bought another XP laptop and tried it but still wouldn't recognise the Actia tool on the USB port.

Sounds like a diesel particulate filter fault (dpf)

Off topic but if you have the 110bhp hdi engine, I have a brand new unused genuine MAF sensor for sale LOL

My PP does that sometimes. I find "forgetting" it in the device manager then plugging it into a new USB so it goes through the add new hardware wizard sorts it.

Yep it is the 110 Hp one, could be the MAF with all the sooty oil in it.
Will try plugging into other USB ports, though the laptop sees it and wants to install drivers for it?.
