I've removed all my power steering and I need to put a manual rack on. Is this the correct one? Can anybody help me please.

Leave your PAS rack on, remove ram and block off the two hose ports.

The rack in your link will fit but it'll probably have more turns lock to lock and it won't have the lock stop to stop the nearside wheel twating the gearbox.

I did that when I removed my PAS over a year ago and the rack is now ticking so somehow its got dry or something

Is it not the ram that restricts the lock?
Fill the housing with power steering fluid and then blank the holes, maybe that would prevent any noises

The ram was removed I believe and the wheel does not hit the box. Pretty sure rack is now shot. Ideally I would like a quick rack but the vts one is power steering one. I need manual
