my thermos on the way out.... running too cold when moving and too hot when stationary.

im replacing it today.

but i wonder if my engine sitting at around 78 degrees all the time would of effected performance or mpg.

what else would effect mpg/performance that is 306 engine specific? things like the thermostat housing sensors etc.

not stuff like pump up your tyres or remove rubbish from your boot.

thanks in advance
jim

standard 83 degree std stat ftw.

running too cold = more friction, lower efficiency,

there's nothing specific to a 306 which will affect mpg, they share the same kind of sensors used by millions of vehicles, i.e temp and load sensors and O2 sensors.
