Basically, I bought this car as a daily driver as i stopped working in Central London and got a job closer to home. A few months after buying it i learnt it was a sieve. After selling a pretty nice 330D and buying this and spending the remainder on sorting out debt I have ended up daily driving a multitude of cars. F Reg 205 1.0 Late 306 HDI BMW 328i Convertible 405 Diesel Fabia VRs BMW e28 525e BMW 318i Auto and currently a Focus 1.6 Petrol. Unfortunately since starting on this project i have been battling depression, divorce and the loss of my mother all whilst holding down a very stressful day job. Ive made plenty of mistakes in my personal life and dealt with some pretty tough low times. Ive also been struggling with debt too so this kind of sat in a workshop untouched for a year. Any way sob story over. Recently I decided to pop over to the workshop its being stored at, the car is in a state, has been dropped on the floor and looked a mess. I have sunk considerable finances into this car and i think it would tip me over the edge to get rid of it so.... I am currently arranging to find a new place to get it stored, any one in kent with ideas? I intend to get it rolling so i can get it out of the workshop. If i am going to buy parts i may as well do it right so i am currently awaiting delivery on some B8 front shocks to mount my eibachs on and will be fitting my rear beam. I remember the rear brake compensator was completely shot. I recently did an ABS delete on a 106 GTi with custom lines and a bias valve. I am toying with the idea of an ABS delete. Im looking for a fast road/track car that i can drive to the shops in but also have a great time on track. I just need to get in contact with the workshop owner to arrange access etc. Also hoping to get some time off work. and it should be on its wheels and on its way to going back on the road.
