Well after lasting a total of 6 months of comfort and economy, I gave in and decided I had to be back in a 6/Rallye. Found this Astor on one of the other forums and with the help of eddy_gti6 managed to get my hands on it and collected it yesterday.

Didn't pay too much for it and considering the condition and the amount of spare parts I got with it, got a fairly good deal. Some pics of how she looks now, excuse me for the filth haven't had a chance to clean it yet.

Immediate plans are to source a drivers seat to replace mine which is ripped to bits and swap the wheels for my OZ's. What do people reckon of the "steelies"?

Spec is pretty standard at the moment really apart from the obvious half cage and a few other bits so long term plans will be some nice suspension parts and then maybe brakes.

I quite like the 'steelies' on a 306 but they do look like they need a refresh, at the moment it just looks like your hub caps have fallen off...!

Edit: might just be because they're a bit dirty

Wheels are filthy as fook, will give them a good clean on the weekend to see if they need a refurb or not.

Yes Meirion they are, previous owner went a bit purple crazy. Don't know if you've noticed the door handle too LOL

I'm having a hard time getting used to the wheel anyway so original may go back on. It's nice when you're thrashing it but just too small IMO
