Hi

As per the KONI equipped Sport Suspension Kit for the ph3 306 gti6 99 2.0l 16v which lowers the rear by 35-40mm. Do I have to adjust the beam or will the shocks adjust to the desired 40mm.

You need to have the beam lowered, the quoted drop is front onlyDoh

How can I tell if a beam has been already lowered.

Someone may know the std distance between the shock mounts when the wheels are off the ground, just measure & compare.
This was my Rallye dropped 50mm at the back..

dampers off & weight of the trailing arm supported they are 330mm between damper bolts as standard.


that's a LOT more than 50mm Wayne LOL

Probably 60mm and 50 profile tyres lol.

I'm pretty sure a VTS beam if at standard height is 25mm lower than a 6 beam or something like that.
