Has started to make a tapping sound. However the Cambelt was done about half a year ago successfully with no tapping afterwards. I've checked the spark plugs and they are tight. It is a constant tapping regardless of what temp and continues after a good thrash. Any other suggestions?

Does it sound like this?

That noise was cured immediately with an oil change. Must have been a hydraulic lifter issue.

Oil was changed about 3 months ago and then again a week ago with 10 40 total quartz 700.
Here is a link to video of noise [url=http://s157.photobucket.com/user/darobsta/media/6%20box/trimS1WKe8.mp4.html?sort=3&o=0]

That doesn't sound healthy but it doesn't sound enough of a knock to be big ends plus if you thrashed it whilst It's been making that noise the bottom end would have s**t itself.

I'd guess you've got a dodgy/sticky lifter, whip the cam covers off and turn it over by hand to have a look what's going on.
