Hi

My aircon rad has been removed and the ends of the old pipes just bent over. I am intending on removing them completely. They appear to run behind the engine from the rear of the drivers head light and then through the bulk head into the car. I presume this is a easy and safe removal and shouldn't cause any issue - comments?

Done mine recently, very difficult to remove the larger diameter pipe from behind but will come with perseverance. The bulk head unit will just come clean off when nut is removed. No danger just be careful of fuel line area when you're writhing the pipe out.

Thanks. Stripped the pipes. You weren't wrong about the big bore. Kept cutting as much as I could and eventually came out. Removing bulk head piece tomorrow. Am also relocating washer bottle. Have you done this and if so did you find a food place for it?

I put my washer bottle in the boot area, on the side of the inner wheel arch.

Actually fixed to arch or squashed between arch and rear light?

This was the old car so a bit messy, but you get the idea.

Thanks. Think I'll copy that idea. Was there any issues running hose and switch wire to the boot?

not really, just ran some extra wiring back there. Then I used the water pipe that usually feeds the rear wiper. Connected that to the bottle, then back at the front I connected it to the front window washer pipe, so just joined the 2 together basically. Made it tidy using the rear washer pipe as it meant it was all tucked out of the way.
