Hi everyone, I have a knocking sound that I can feel through the pedals, its only happens when im reversing and the steering wheel is turned to the left and I press the brake pedal. I've checked wishbones, ball joints, drop links etc. Could the drive shaft cause this? |

Possibly Driveshafts, the noise they make is usually described as a clicking though .________________________________________ andrew315rawson@live.co.ukMoonstone phase 7 gti6 My Project thread: http://www.306gti6.com/forum/showthread.php?id=119992&page=1 |

It started after I had the n/s driveshaft out to replace the boot, I checked everything was torqued up but I'll check it all again. Its strange that it only happens whilst reversing and turning the wheel left, feels like somethings loose and clunking I'll check wishbone front bush and sub frame bolts. |

Sadly you have a family of French woodpeckers in your car that have a nest on the reverse gear |
