I've been looking for a standard (or as close to it as possible) enthusiast/club owned Rallye for ages now. I'm happy to pay good money for the right car. I almost went for the modified one swapping hands recently but I really want to keep as close to stock as possible (even though the mods were beautifully done).

I thought I would be proactive and put a shout out to anyone on the club thinking of selling but not wanting the hassle of advertising and dealing with plonkers (no offence meant but you know what I mean).

I'm looking for a white Rallye that's been loved and comes with good documented history (specialists/indies is fine) and all the usual issues rectified.

It will be cherished as a 2nd car and kept 100% right in my ownership.

Whats wrong with the 177k one? You could probably knock him down to £1000, and replace the few small bits to standard.

Rallyes are few and far between at the moment, and much sought after, snap one up if you can, regardless of milage Yes

As he said

engines are easy to get hold of and can allways rebuild for under a well under a grand.

You ll never loss money on a rallye especially if its white.

Chris at Shepherd Motors in Chelmsford is going to have one up for sale soon. 01245 477999 is the garage number, if you were keen.
