Ok now I know that the alarm light flashes when the alarm is enabled however I started the car and the light stayed on , any one know why?

Yep solid light is a fault on the system and you can guarantee its the siren as they are in a s**t place. Get one from a 206. They never suffered as they weren't getting soaked non stop lol |

i relocated mine up on the bulkhead behind the battery when i fitted the replacement sounder |
