Hi all, I believe that 306s have a collapsible steering column, correct me if I'm wrong?
Iv fitted the column to the dimma and after fitting the steeering wheel boss and wheel it appears mine must have taken a knock whilst being off the car as the base of the steering wheel boss now rubs on the shroud!
Is it advisable to remove the column and hit the column back down in its mount or is it a one time use once it's collapsed?

Loosen the bolt (nr 3) on the lower steering column pull on the steering wheel and the steering wheel should come loose from the shroud.

You can move the shaft up and down if you remove the bolt nr. 3, I had the same problem.
