Hi,

What's the function of the spring attached to the clutch pedal, inside the car.

I just can't figure it out what it is needed for, I thinks it makes the pedal more heavy than it's supposed to be.

it doesnt keep the pedal up, it pushes it down to keep tension on the self adjusting cable

there was a peugeot tech bulletin to remove them.

Does this tech bulletin mention the reason it has to be removed ?
As far I can see it only fitted to the XU10JR(S) models.
