Selling my 306 bought it 2 months ago with the intention of having it as our second car that I could use for the odd track day but it's really not going to happen as time to work on it and actually drive it is just not happening with 3 kids and two jobs so I'm just going to cut my losses and get something boring that I just start stop an do nothing with.

I bought the car from Inverness with short mot and tax it's got just under 74k miles but no real s/h
I've put it in for its mot and it failed on
Exhaust blowing : I've had it welded
Light beam out of range: the wee clip to hold bulb in isn't there so bulb is just flapping about
Ball joint has excessive play: it's not it's been wrongly diagnosed it's the struts too small for the hub ( I don't think it's gti struts just basic spec struts) ordered a set of euro car parts for gti but not fitted yet
Handbrake efficiency below requirement: I've fitted new discs and pads and de greased cleaned handbrake mechanism on back so hopefully that's it!
It was just over on emissions so I'm hoping the red ex I've put in and new plugs will bring that down along with the exhaust not blowing.

So I've replaced
Both front arms
Both drop links
Both track rod ends
Front and rear discs and pads
Oil and oil filter
Front tyres (uniroyal rain sports 3)

New part sun fitted
Power flex bottom engine mount
Front struts

The car itself is pretty straight no big scratches or dents cleans up well a small dent on back panel below tailgate is the most notable , it's only done 74k miles last few mots back this up no real history came with the car though so unsure of cam belt change so that was also on my list of things to do
All in all it's a decent car that just needs a little bit of tlc and time to make right and I just don't have it to give

Car is located in perth Scotland as I said I'm working two jobs but can float about for viewings

I no there not worth much and I will be losing almost all ive spent on parts but such is life

Looking for 750 for it

Might be an early phase 2 - there are a few on 'p' plates, and I don't think they did blaze on the ph1?

There was a blaze phase 1 on eBay a few years ago, it looked really good! Went for 600 quid and I was gutted I didn't buy it, rarer than an Astor Shut up

I know they did a phase 2 on a P but I thought they were 97... Phase 1 GTi6 was brought out just before they started production of phase 2 models then :/
