Was 100% a magnex when I had it, will be able to tell by the back box. Would have to get a low down pic of it.
No need for a lock on the boot. It has central locking.

Just as a backup I was going to get a lock put on the boot, although if the battery was disconnected then reconnected would this automatically unlock the doors?

Nope car remains locked if battery disconnected and reconnected. Rallyes don't have boot locks. I assume key fob works ?

Pick a window !

I'd look at the doors and see how they have been de locked ? If it's just filler you maybe able to knock it out and re install some locks ? Or just get a spare key fob and get pug to code it to the car ?

Run 2 thin cables from battery and.safely terminate them some where you can access without being in the car that way you can connect a battery to them if yours goes flat, so you can open it. I had it on my old 306 which was delocked
