Just wondering if anyone can fill me in at all; I'm friends with a Peugeot tech since the early 90's and he was saying that the Xsara Picassos have a reinforced front subframe and also possibly a wider track.

Anyone had any experience or info to back this up or shut it down? Because this would make taking corners a bit nicer possibly a little quieter aswell Dunno

no idea on the front track, but as they share the same/similar front end as a Berlingo and a 306 the subframe may well fit and be strengthened.

Most of them have cast iron wishbones and stronger P-bushes, I would stick to the 306 wishbones personally, the 106 used cast ones and they're notorious for bending.

Just seeing if its worth while spending the time tracking one down, the negative camber would help my tires last a little longer.

I'll keep up my research but if anyone else has an input I more than welcome it.

if you fit one and it is wider you'd need to fit the picasso driveshafts too.

Interesting I've always presumed them to be the same I might have a measure of a Picasso later and my 6 to see if their same width if so then strengthened would be a bonus
