Just wondered if anyone could give me an idea how to get the bearing off in the middle, I might be being thick but I'm at a loss.bruce2007 has attached the following image: |

a long puller and some heat.you need to shift the retaining collar first. ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

both will need pulling, might be able to do it with a press instead of a very long puller, but you'll need the jaws of a bearing puller to go behind itget it all set up and under pressure and warm up the collar with a mapp torch. use a length of tube to press the bearing into place, you can then heat the collar and drop it on. bearing is a common side, 6006 from memory, 30x55-13 ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

thanks, I'll try that. You're correct about the bearing size....30x55-13 (or part no. 3247 03). SNR also do one which is part no. 6006.________________________________________ 1999 GTi-6 (china blue)1999 Rallye (black) |
