I found this severed hose today, no idea what it does. It goes around the back and side of the PAS reservoir and then through a hole in the wheel arch.

Ah right thank you.

The charcoal canister is supposed to be in the same place as it is on this 106, correct? If so, mine has been removed by a previous owner.

I know they are primarily to protect the environment and not waste fuel vapours, but could a missing one potentially cause running issues?

No real need for it to be honest. It does something along the lines of catches the fumes from the petrol tank and feeds them back into the inlet. I rarely run it and when you fit bodies its not used either.

Yeah I know what they do, just wasn't sure whether or not it could potentially cause problems.
I'll leave it for the time being.

Thank you!
