I k ow the 2 green relays are 1 for each fan but what is the black one for? I am on fitting a slimline fan and wondering if I need to keep the black relay or not? I can unplug it and my fan still works but I dont want to get rid of it incase its for the temperature sensor or something?

The two green ones just switch a high current line to each fan. The black one switches them two green ones as and when they need to come on.

So can I run a single slime line fan on 1 green relay and get rid of the black one and one green one? Already removed one green relay

What exactly are you doing? Are you running the new single slimline with the Omex? If so, do away with these fans and relays all together, get a standard 40a relay and just wire it up with that. Much easier than messing about trying to set all of that up.
I also assume you don't have air con your planning to use lol
