i've got an idea to build a muts nuts of an gti6 engine but been told several different ide what block to use

some say 1.8 xsi, some say 206 140, some say mi16

if ut gets built it will have steel crank from a dturbo, billet steel flywheel, steel rods, forged pistons and a head with cams, port polished etc

whats everyones thought?

EW10, lighter and stiffer than all the others, much newer so wont be shot, will take the TD crank too.

Sandy Brown builds a bloomin good one.

its an XU5 crank in an XU7 block, full sandy brown build, 220 bhp.
