For sale on behalf of my friend, is his Peugeot 306 GTi-6
It really is a superb example of this now rare hot hatch, probably the last and best of the Hot Pug's!

100% Original, 4 owners from new, mostly same family, every MOT and heaps of receipts and history.

2 x documented cam belts services, the last within 12k if i recall correctly, 122k now.

Pulls like a train, every bit the performer it promised to be.

Recent clutch kit, new front tyres, service, and a full 12mths mot, taxed till end of June 2014.

Excellent interior, very very minimal drivers seat wear, none smoker, very well cared for inside and out. Fantastic drive, handles extremely well without banging and crashing about, no rattles and knocks.

Car can barely be faulted, the only thing i have found is a slight shudder braking hard from speed, so could need front discs soon, or a lazy caliper perhaps from standing.

No rust, no body issues. Tiny rub on front arch, and the black bits could do with back to black or similar, Thats It!

To repeat, an excellent, original, unmodified and unmolested car, sadly now parked more than is used, and that's the only reason for selling.

Mature owners, never a thrash hatch, always cared for with no expense spared, ready to drive away.

please contact me to arrange a viewing 07875 749472

car can be delivered at 50p per mile round trip, ask for details.

Blurb unnecessary, this is the owners club.

Other than that it looks to be a fair example. Thumbs up

IMO price is a bit steep, especially with only 1 photo to show the goods.

GLWTS!

Hate to burst your bubble mate but most wouldn't pay much over 1k...
Unfortunately for sellers of these cars there are LOADS on ebay in similar condition for very little cash.

I'd suggest at least looking through the for sale threads on here and seeing what other cars have sold for.

These cars are getting to the age where condition has a significant effect on value, as the cost of putting neglect right is more than the car is worth, especially as newer early- to mid-2000s cars like hot Clios and Fiesta STs are getting down toward this price point. So if it is an exceptionally clean car with comprehensive service history then it would be worth more than a £1K thrashed and unloved tatty ebay special needing cam belt, brakes, tyres, bushes, etc etc.

That said, I agree that to get anywhere near a top price the ad needs more pics and more detail, e.g. a pic of a wad of receipts, interior, and confirmed date/mileage when cam belt changed, etc.

As requested,

is that better?

To be honest, i didn't want to take the mick as a newbie, as i was pointed here by the current owner and not a fully fledged Pug man personally you see.

As for the price, well, i'm guided by the owner, and what i find and see for myself, but that said, i researched other adverts of sold cars before listing this and found a very similar spec'd car had sold successfully for £1700, and with less MOT, lots more owners, and less history. Condition i can't really comment on but i'd bet that this one will take some beating i reckon.

That said, it is advertised with offers in mind, so anyone can feel free to make their thoughts on their preferred price known if they seriously want to buy it?

All interest welcome, whats the worst that can happen? ha ha!!
