Hi all. Most of you will already know about Wilwoods brake calipers, they are smaller than Hi-spec equivalents, offer the same stopping power and are around 60% cheaper than AP Racing calipers.

As I use my 306GTiV6 mainly for track use I'm looking to purchase the following kit from Rally Design.

http://www.rallydesign.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=562_563_570&products_id=3963

Having spoken to them, it will cost me £477+vat (£566) + postage which is very reasonable for whats on offer.

However, if I can get at least 2 more people interested we can all get 20% off !

So thats a saving of over £100 each ! Yes

Making the price just £453 including vat ! Thumbs up

This kit fits under 15" wheels and has enormous stopping power and works evenly on both sides of the disc (unlike the original Gti6 brakes!). Note that pads aren't included but they have a wide range including M1144's at just £50.

Are you interested ? Do you know someone who is and would be happy saving over £100 ?

I need to move fairly quickly, but am happy to open this offer up to the Gti6 fraternity.

Let me know if you want to get involved,

Paul

Guess you dont undersrand the principle of a single piston sliding caliper then LOL

One downside of these kits, the discs are r-d only and stupid expensive, and need spacers for mpst normal 15"wheels.

Better bet is to arrange a reproduction of the Welly brake kits, they used the o.e disc, a custom bracket produced by PhillipM iirc, and the wilwood caliper.

If Phil isn't interested in making the brackets up I'd be happy to have a look.

What sort of rough price do you think you could knock up some caliper mounts for standard discs with wilwood 4pots? I know it's hard to say but a rough guess?
