The previous owner of my car (phase 2 gti 6) had the rear wiper removed, the boot smoothed and a boot popper installed. I would like to put a rear wiper back in, only i think they used the wiper wiring for the boot popper (which stopped working a while ago). Is there supposed to be a red and yellow connector to go into the motor? ...as i only have a yellow one and there doesn't seem to be any power getting to it.
Also, has anyone wired a boot popper that doesn't use the rear wiper wiring?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
