You can run stock S16 rods and pistons. Otherwise you will spend a lot of money getting the deck height correct. I have 88mm crank and 87mmm pistons and the rod/piston combo cost me £1200 ________________________________________ 230 hp 2.1 16v XU 205 rallye on jenveys Project thread here309 3dr K20 Type R |

Well it depends in what situation. If you had a road going car I wouldn't take it off the road, pull the engine out, strip it right down to just put in a 88mm crank. However if you are wanting a nice torquey budget build then building up a spare lump in the garage or in corporating it within a rebuild, a 88mm crank, S16 rods and pistons machined with bigger valve clearances and some mild cams, retaining the standard inlet is a pretty efficient way to get 200 hp, a 2044cc lump and including rebuild items under £1,000 ________________________________________ 230 hp 2.1 16v XU 205 rallye on jenveys Project thread here309 3dr K20 Type R |

If you really want the CC, buy the 92mm crank and go for 2.2/2.3________________________________________ 230 hp 2.1 16v XU 205 rallye on jenveys Project thread here309 3dr K20 Type R |

Hahahaha l got a 88mm crank, and that with 87/88mm pistons would be enough for me. So l ll need some pistons with the wristpin 1mm higher to match the 88mm crank. The engine will be fitted with Satchell throttle bodies and some decent cams, and a Dta40. |
