Only noticed yesterday that my Lynx aux belt pulley has a nice wobble on it and I've got no idea why. Its torqued up correctly and the big washer is centred in the pulley correctly yet it still has a wobble on it. Cant think why unless its a bad pulley?

Take the pulley off and look at the slot, it may have deformed as happened on here recently.

Well been out to look at this today and theres nothing wrong anywhere yet it still wobbles. Cleaned up the face on the pulley, cleaned up the face on the cam belt pulley so all i can think is the pulley if dodgy. The cam belt runs true when its running so it can't be the cam belt pulley causing it to wobble.

You mean the crank pully? That drives the aux belt yea?

Might be worth changing it if you can , will tell you if its just the pully,

Mine wore the key way away and caused a knocking noise which had me worried for a while! Not heard of one wobbling though.

Be worth trying another if you can and should be able to identify the problem pretty quickly.

The washer is off centre yes but that's not the issue. I'm having trouble getting it on video but it is wobbling.

If washer is off centre then it will look like it had a bad wobble
