Found this with the hilarious details.

"£185,000 per year just to run and maintain. Some people have even said it is cheaper to have the car delivered somewhere on a trailer and then take the private jet."

"set of 4 tires costs an incredible £23,500 to replace
The manufacturer recommends actually changing the tyres every 2,500 miles!! To make things worth at 10,000 miles Bugatti recommends changing the wheels and tyres costing £30,000"

that finally put me off.

I suspect that it's bo***cks and actually it wouldn't be anywhere near that.
Bit like a GTR costing 5.5k for brakes and tyres. It's more like 3.2k LOL

For a Veyron? For most of these cars there are options from other companies.

Usually people who is rich enough to spend 1.3M on a car, aren't completely f**king morons
to understand that a yearly running costs of 23% from their car price is very expensive.
even if they have means to afford it, they don't want to look as a f**king rich idiots.

I thought its only when you approach the cars maximum speed that the tyres degrade and have a low life span. Surely during average driving they will be good until the tread wears down?

Correct, it will last 15 minutes at top speed,
but cleverly Bugatti designed that the fuel will be gone 3 minutes before.
if you were blessed like Mandingo you would not try full penetration ?
