Found a few threads but none that really have my answer.
What sort of oil pressure should i be expecting? Im getting about 90psi on idle (cold) dropping to about 40 when the engines warm (although oil wasn't. Ive literally just run it up on the drive).
Also picks up with rpm. Ive heard a general rule is that you should get 10psi for every 1000 rpm but not sure how true this is?

Cheers.

I've had a few phase 1's with the oil pressure gauge and that's roughly what they've always had.

They display pressure in bars and cold they are usually about 6 dropping to somewhere between 2 and 4 when warm. Under load they do rise back up but not as much as 10 psi per 1000 rpm.

Cheers guys. Been out for a drive and got it nice and hot. 30 psi on idle and does pick up nicely with the revs. As long as its not dropping off all together which I suspect could of happened before.

So i moved the oil pressure sender the other day as it was butted right up against the charger bracket. Ive now got it in the unused hole in the block where the oil pressure switch was on the ph1. Now on cold idle, I'm getting about 100psi. Is this right? Seems odd its higher on the other side of the engine lol
