Just bought a 59 reg 407 2.0 hdi 140.

Wondered if i got it remapped would this affect my warranty if i had to take it in for any repairs? Got some warranty thrown in with the deal so would hate to lose it, cheers.

I'm sure remaps affect warranty unless it's a manufacturer approved remap (someone correct me if I'm wrong though)

I thought as much, do you know how likely it would be of them picking it up?

It will void warranty. Yes

Having said that, the chances of them finding out are pretty remote.

They won't find out unless they went to do an ecu update / download to fix a common fault running issue or something. And even then I'm not sure it would tell them it was different software would possibly just restore the original version of the map.

I'd just do it anyway I've never had any issues with mapping a car other than clutch slip afterwards lol
