Im about to purchase some bonnet pins for my track car. Im looking at egay items around £8. Are these any good or are they cheap, nasty ones or are bonnet pins, just bonnet pins? Also will need them on my boot rather than drilling my rear quarters to fit straps. Would this work...?

The cheaper ones are all pretty similar, they're ok. I've got them on my rally car, they serve a purpose, fairly rusty now though!

Do you really need them on the tailgate? Is it to meet regs or just be a tart? Razz

Ive got Farmers old hatch with lexan screen. Pretty certain its de-locked. Tempted to get the pins powder coated to stop the rust....

I had a couple of sets snap on my mini they were those anodised alloy ones, so I'd avoid those
