Does it one fan or two? It sounds like a rallye setup so should only have 1 which is controlled by relays.

What ya thinking Stanley?
Id be looking at getting the bitron sensor in and whipping off the front bumper to gain access to the bitron unit and check for bad connections. Thats what was causing my stop light to come on.

Roll eyes

I was merely pointing out the fact that you had asked how many fans his car had and that he had already told us he had a twin fan setup. I think the next stage would be to see if there is even a Bitron unit fitted. Yes

I seem to recall this shell didn't start life as a GTi-6, and that the engine swap was a conversion? Dunno

thats right stan....

iv checkt and it does have a bitron relay/module....

checked it and no obvious water damage... i un plugged it and started id and light has gone out... but obviously now both fans are not working...

right to assume it is the bitron thats faulty
