My drivers side window has broken, the swithc works and you can hear the motor working but nothing is happening.

The window can be moved up and down by hand but doesnt move with the motor.

Any ideas what it could be and if its an easy fix? Just put it through an mot so really skint atm.

Any help much appreciated, cheers.

tbh unless you dismantle the door and inspect you are guessing. i'd be checking another switch and also the motor itself, then the teeth on the motor if that's how it operates or the track it runs in or what triggers it to move the window
