Just had my car put on a snap-on code reader thing and it had a fault with the knock sensor. I've had a search but couldn't find where the knock sensor is located.
Anyone know where it is and how much they are from pug?
Thanks

New knock sensor is approx £65 from Peugeot. Or just fit a good used one. Easy to change, undo multiplug, sensor is fixed to front face of black with 13mm head bolt |

You dont have to but access is very awkward with it in place. Bear in mind if you do take inlet off then youll more than likely need a new inlet to head gasket. If your clever about it use a wobble bar and extension or i find a flex head ratchet spanner to be the best, take your time its perfectly doable without removing manifold |

No worries, thanks for the advice. I'll probably just whip the inlet off and have a looksie. Hopefully it'll be the end of all the stalling issues/hesitation. I've changed every other sensor! Thanks again |

Tbh mate i dont think it will cure your stalling issues. Have you tried unplugging the power steering sensor (blue plug down under inlet, mounted on high pressure pipe) |

Yeh I've done everything lolNew lambda New coolant temp sensor New map New TPS New power steering sensor New ICV (twice) Took it out for a drive with a snap on diag hooked up with the live data etc and after 5mins the only error code that came up was knock circuit fault and then it started stalling etc not being able to idle. The only other thing I haven't changed is the coils, but am doubtful it's those. |

phone an autofactors with that part number like ECP or Andrew Page, that'll usually tell you. but if them part no's are the same i'd take a gamble personally. google images looks to be your best bet in showing them both being the same________________________________________ 306 rallye reproduction decals (full sets/individual decals) | 306 b-pillar textured vinyl weatherstrips306 slam panel esso stickers | 306 yellow / orange / pension fund red side door badges gti6 inlet manifold badges | 306 rear boot badges (p2/p3) winner of Extraction of toys from prams with outstanding vigour award 2009 [source: gti6 owners club] |
