Any tips on the removal of the brake servo on a gti6

Does the dash need to come out?

As far as I know if the dash was out you could remove it with the whole panel it's bolted to but personally I'd drop te engine right down and forward, then remove the master cylinder and unbolt it from inside the car. The hardest part will be making room for it to come out.

engine is out of the car anyway so thought i might try & fit a pedal box

so in essance, if i removed the master cylinder & unbolt from inside the car, it should just slide out into the empty engine bay?

4 13mm bolts from inside i think on them :-) Or a few 10mm nuts from inside take it out complete with pedal box :-)
