I pulled my seats out at the weekend to try and stop the damn airbag light flashing but sadly didn't have any luck. I took all the wires and tightened the connections but it's still flashing. I'm going to try soldering them next and will have a look at the air bag wires too but I'm not hugely confident.

Has anyone got PP2000? I'm tempted to buy one of the £80 ebay kits but wondered if anyone had the kit on here. I could perhaps rent it for some beer tokens?

I have it but it's with my dad at the moment. If you can wait a few weeks, pop to rugby and we'll have a look

Annoyingly I've not got an mot at the minute and won't be getting one til this is sorted. I'll try the plugs by the SRS ECU and the ones in the steering wheel first but thanks for the offer. Might have to wire a raspberry pi up to the bulb for now haha.

Just wanted to bring this back up as I could really do with plugging in to see what's causing the airbag light issue. I'm going to hopefully replace the steering wheel squib this weekend but other people have used PP2000 to get quite useful and accurate information. Anyone got the kit they'd lend out for a fee?

I have one but not exactly close to you.

take the bulb ok!

Stupidly it then doesn't fail, it just gets a pass with an advisory that the light doesn't work!

Is that true?

Was under the impression if it was manafactured with air bags and the light did not illuminate and then go out it was an instant fail under the new rules?

Well if a new steering wheel squib doesn't fix it I'll be sure to post back the results of an MOT without a bulb Smile
