Hi guys, right, just had a longlife 2.25 " system fitted to my 205 gti6 yesterday, and since then it keeps hunting and bogging down when accelerating...
Not to pleased to have shelled out £350 on seeming to make the car worse.

Any help would be appreciated
Max

I doubt it is the exhaust, however maybe you could try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes and then reconnecting. It'll likely run rough for a few seconds but it'll hopefully settle.

Failing that, it could be a coincidence and a sensor has failed at exactly the same time.

Maybe the lambda was damaged during fitting?

Get a diag done. Could be the map sensor, mine ran poorly when it failed.

Agree on the lambda diagnosis - try unplugging it and see if the issue goes away.

If does, new lambda time. Yes
