Had an epic drive today, with a pal in a 180brake Fiat 500 Arby...

Chepstow, St Arvans, Devauden, Towards Raglan, across to the Usk road and back to Chep, via Shirenewton... Full on wherever possible!

Good purchase, that lil 6 of mine!

You guys had any memorable drives?

Been driving to the South of France every year with a group from here for the last few years, blasting through the Alps in a group of GTi-6/Rallyes, always been epic! Cool

Is it invite only?

Last year drove to a mates down in the new forest down the A31 and through the forest. No particular amazing corners to try the car out on but lots of nice wide straights to smash along in the blistering sun. Was a epic drive.

Doing Santander to Andorra, Monaco, Lake Coma, Stelvio Pass and Black Forest in July over 3 weeks, think that should secure awesomeness times 100 beyond any reasoned doubt of anything mentioned thus far.

Stan

Who you go away with then?

The Alpine trips sound amazing - an ambition of mine, although it'll be years before I can go on that kind of jaunt...!

My next target is the Brecon Beacons. I know some awesome roads up there, from a previous life 23 years ago!

Its a lot of the older members that go to the south of france. Stilly, stain, gman and leadfoot usually
From what I can gather the tweeked R32 is the right tool for that job...

Yes

I wouldn't have kept him behind me til the end if it wasn't for him taking a wrong turn...that package was just awesome.

He's spent a lot on that car. And tbh, I've never been in anything with so much grip. And the noise... the f**king noise!

It's the grip that's the key to that package. Yes

He was chasing me through the Alps, able to get on the power a full second before me on the exit from tight turns. My package has awesome grip, but it can't compete with a very well sorted 4WD setup with an angry Spongebob at the helm...LOL
