Daveyboy does indeed make these, he normally carries out the complete service, but if the car is immobile he may be able to sell you just the part made up ready to weld in yourself.

Drop him a PM.

Sorry, it's a full fit service only I'm afraid, because I form the curved part of my replacement piece by hand and test fit it. Once I'm happy with the fit I then drill the hole and weld the nut in the right place. I can't do that without a car to work from. Mines no good as the mount has been heavily bodged by a previous owner.

I could saw out a mount from a scrap car for reference I suppose or if somebody wants to send me that part from a dead car then I would be able to make kits to sell, but finding the time never seems to happen.

If I had seen that the other day I've just scrapped a hdi estate shell and could have cut out the whole section for you.

All we did for mine was cut a template to shape out of paper, marked out the position of the original hole then cut that out of metal and filed it down to shape at the edges. Welded that in nicely all the way round and job done.

I've got a template, but where I curve the sides of my repair patches they never come out exactly the same each time. (They are close but not identical) the hole can end up being out of line by three or four millimetres so that's why I make the plate then line up an drill the hole afterwards.
