1. hi i am trying to learning to repgrogram and mapping/flashing ecus. i have decided to got money on this way.
i have downloaded. map program ex: ecu manager, ecu flash tool, and trying download: digipro abd flasher with is a famous more better remap program, in this program all can be done. remapping, erasing fault codes ,check condition on ecu. setting rpm cutoff and all that stuff, remove immobiliser locking ex Smile
example you can buy loicked immobilsaer cheap remove the ommobilaser locking and sell unlocked ones expensive.
i can when i being bettter, tune others ecu for money, erase codes and all that.

2. i have tuning studio ms to with is made for mega scuirt do this wporks to remap ecus with?

3. but for the moment i have a 205 gti that runs extremely poorly the ecu is not well, i want to plug its ecu and check status remap and upgrade it. i have read kinda lot on this.
i even have a Gti6 that i have 3 ecus to. so i have 2 that i can experianced with, 2 of them are locked so i must check and reprogramme them anyway, at least remove immobilaser locking.

4. so i wonder do someone know where i can learn more on mapping? and recomend good free reprogramming/mapping softwares?
i also want good tuning map files that works well with 306 gti ecu and 205 gti. i really ant to learn this to flash and remap, learn ecus, check and repair them. i have downloaded some map file but dont know aboit it.

5. can you members send me mapping files Smile? as i said. i dont just want to take a random map thats not working well with gti6. i will trying learning remaping on thsi 2 locked ecus. my original i not gonno do anything with.

6. i have also read that the 306 gti ecu is kinda poorly mapped original and can got alot hp whith remapping it. original map is poor for ex upgrade with cams and so. i have even bought a cabel obd to usb cabel Smile

7. My last question is. can i Remap my gti6 original in this ecu tuning programs? so i dont need other mapfiles to write ower with?

It depends what theoretical background you have on ECU
If you have more holes you try to fill than ground, i suggest you take a good book and learn the basics.
for maps try: http://viezu-master-files.com/home.php

my suggestion would be to try a dedicated ECU tuning forum like
http://www.ecuconnections.com
http://mhhauto.com/
http://www.ecuedit.com/
http://www.chiptuners.org/

to name but a few, you will probably get a better responce
but it my experiance mappers dont like sharing info with strangers

as cully said.. theres enough forums... but working with older ecu's is very time consuming unless you run a emulator..

software for editing Winols is the best.. learning where maps are located is another world though..

damos makes it easy but pricey..

thanks. i will registrate myself on chiptuners then Smile

i gues nobody knows if the 205 gti boch ecu is mapable in example tunerstudio or ecu manager via obd?
there is adapters for the green connector to obd in the older xu vechiles. so i wonder that.

it would be awsome to remap and modify the 205 gti boch ecu just like that. without messing with chips and stuff.
the original map can be much better.

something in the ecu is wrong in the cases. it spitting and will not go well at all, all sensors is changed, the only soultion if not the ecu could be the fuel pressure pump.

thanks i will try download those books in pdf if o can if not i buy them.
i was going thinking on a thing. all mega squit info would be enough to learn mapping, caouse. when larning how to map megasquirt you will now how to map.
I FOUND "engine managemt advanced tuning on pdf Big grin

I've found now the "engine management advanced tuning" pdf,
and from brief browsing it's bit disappointing, it doesn't realy stand behind it's title.
it's superficially covering the issues ,
the "21st century performance" ii own for more then a decade is way better.
but there's no PDF afaik , i think it's out of print with few left on Amazon
with price tag of 378 pound in UK, i could buy engine with this money.
