My spare wheel carrier bracket disintegrated whilst i was trying to de-rust it. Just wondering if i can do without? or if possible, make a new one up? Thanks |

Just get another from a scrappy. I wouldn't want to risk no having a spare, or to lose boot space by carrying it in there.I see you're from Porthleven! Do you surf at all? Although originally from Plymouth, I've managed to grab some of the best waves in my life there. Bet it was pretty entertaining during the recent storms! ________________________________________ 1992 Onyx Black 205 GTI-62005 Honda S2000 (Sold) 2002 Audi S3 (Sold) 2005 Clio 182 Trophy (sold) |

Haha nah I don't surf, I'm too much of a pussy to be in the freezing cold sea! + porthleven's meant to be pretty dangerous to surf. The storms have been savage here! Waves reaching the top of the clock tower.Think I'll have to take a trip to the scrappys then, don't fancy having the spare wheel in the boot! |

When did you used to surf here? Apparently it's one of the best spots in England? |

I usually surf the break to the right of the harbour entrance, so in front of that nice house that was built a few years back. On occasion, I will also surf the break right in front/to the left of the harbour breakwater. It's bloody cold at this time of the year, although wetsuit tech is pretty good these days. ________________________________________ 1992 Onyx Black 205 GTI-62005 Honda S2000 (Sold) 2002 Audi S3 (Sold) 2005 Clio 182 Trophy (sold) |
