I have just replaced my faulty OE radio PU-1570 with a PU-2294 and found that the steering column stalk no longer works. Do I need a different stalk?

All advice gratefully received!

not exactly helpful here...but same kinda area

when i put in a aftermarket sony radio there was a connector block to adapt the stalk to work...

seeing as it was 20 quid and id just spent about that on the normal converter block i left it.

its not as if the radio facia panel is out of my reach anyways....

I'm guessing your car is a phase 2.

The PU2294 is the radio fitted to the phase 3's and the stalk for the phase 3 does have a different connector.

You'll need the stalk from a phase 3.

PU-1570 is the phase 3 tape deck so comes with the correct connector built in Wink
