I will need a couple of tyres for my S6 in a month or so and was going to get a pair of Dunlop SportMaxx in 98 XL for £209 each fully fitted but have seen the Falken Azenis FK-453's in 98 XL fitment for £188 each fully fitted.

Don't suppose anyone has an experience of them and is it worth the £40 saving over the Dunlops?

Not read anything bad online about them but some first hand feedback would be helpful.

A friend has these on the back of her 207 and they've worn quicker than the falken 912s on the front!
Seem to be a ok tyre but I'm guessing the grip comes from them being so soft.

IMO I'd go for the dunlops or some conti sport contacts if you can get them?

Cheers Chris.

I might just pay up for the Sport Contacts that are on the car already then as they have done circa 11k miles over 27 months.

They are still in good nick over 95% over the tyre but the inside edges seem to take a real hammering through the weight over the front end.

Worth looking at goodyear eagle F1 asymmetric 2s for yours, meant to be decent and same kind of saving over the dunlops.
